The Screen on The Green

Some brilliant person decided to start showing free movies on a public lawn in Jamaica Plain.  Brilliant, brilliant person.  It meant keeping Frances up past her bedtime, but we brought lots of snuggleness with us, in case she got sleepy.

Besides, how could we pass up hanging out with these folks?

That's Darby and Peanut (actually, Griffin, but nobody calls him that).

It was great.  The Little Mermaid was the main attraction.  Frances had never seen it before, which made it extra special, at least for me.

Those are my toes on the left and Frances's on the right.

Darby brought cookies for Frances and Chandler.

Poor Chandler was at home in bed, but maybe next summer she can join us.  It was such a relief to be out of the house in the evening.  So much cooler.

Pure brilliance.

I spent the entire next day retelling the story to Frances, but she hasn't asked about it since.  Elsa and Anna are firmly back on top.  Sorry, Ariel.
