Seventeen Months Fun Facts
- Verbal skills: Her new word is "doggie," but it sounds a lot like her word for "daddy." I have a much easier time understanding her when there's a dog to point to. "Uh-oh" is big. She definitely understands the word "kiss" and will sometimes dole out a big, slimy smack upon request. Consider this warning. "No" is definitely the answer to every question.
- Motion: Very good at getting on and off the couch. I just pretend she isn't going to fall off one day.
- Teeth: Same old, same old. Those four teeth are still working their way into position.
- Books: Not so into books this month. She will actively protest when I pick one up to read to her. This probably has something to do with "no" being the answer to every question.
- Sleep: Really not bad. She sleeps through three out of four nights and her naps are really decent. The kid is definitely a pleasure to have around.
