Guess where we drove!
Can you tell?!
It's Michigan. We drove to Michigan.
Because of some life snafus (Jocelyn went and got a new full-time job, etc.), my girls weren't going to see their Cowen cousins for a year and a half.
Clearly unacceptable.
After much hemming and hawing, I decided to drive the girls to Michigan. The drive there was a breeze. We made great time and I found myself thinking things like, "We should visit the Finger Lakes!" "We should visit Toronto!" "We should visit Montreal!" "We should visit Niagara Falls!" It was really that easy. The back seat of the car was destroyed but whining was absolutely minimal. We were at Jocelyn's in time for dinner.
And then the kids played and ate ice cream.
It was heaven.
