Sir, as my father is affectionately known, joined my mom in Massachusetts before heading to Maine. It was too hot to do much walking, one of his favorite activities, so we went to Concord to go swimming in Walden Pond, instead.

This was Chandler's first swim! I'm so pleased to say that her first swim was in Walden Pond. Most kids in Concord can probably say the same, but I never thought I'd be able to say it about kids of my own.
Frances loved the water. (She actually asked to go back to Walden Pond as I was typing this up.)
Fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun.
Chandler loved it too, I'm sure.
