On Our Own in Maine

Last summer, I was really worried about being alone in Maine with the girls.  How could I cook dinner and keep them from falling in the ocean?  But this summer, it really wasn't a problem.  For one thing, the girls stick pretty close to me.  For another, they can entertain themselves, at least in spurts.

For instance, they had a great time unmaking a bed - not their bed, mind you, but a bed.

And the reef is an endless source of curiosities.

Doesn't she look alive with curiosity?

Maybe more so here:

This is me, being artistic.

And this is Chandler, eating seaweed.  So she did show some curiosity, just not the curiosity I was expecting.

Hey, at least she tried a new food.

Not bad, these girls.
